When Oreo was 10 weeks old, he took her on a hike in the mountains. She ran ahead of him on the trail, then stopped when she came to a fork, looked back at him as if to say, “Which way?”
In that moment, he felt an instant connection with her and fell in love.
“That was when I just totally committed my whole heart to her,” Wayne said. “That’s when I said, ‘She’s my dog.’”
