You wouldn’t believe how many words there are to describe the most nuanced of feelings and the most imperceptible of moments. Here are 41 of our favorite words we’re pretty sure you haven’t heard of before.
Ombrophile - A person who loves rain; someone who finds joy and peace in rainy weather.
Oleilu - The awareness of how few days are memorable; a reflection on the scarcity of truly significant moments in life.
Shibui - A Japanese aesthetic concept describing simple, subtle, and unobtrusive beauty; elegant simplicity.
Foilsick - Frustrated by something you could have easily predicted or prevented; exasperated at your own lack of foresight.

Eccendentesiant - Someone who fakes a smile; a person pretending to be happy.
